The artist, Jacomijn searches around the world for beautiful stones to reflect the uniqueness of the departed loved ones. As each stone is a one off piece, there are many different types of stones to choose from within the collection. The stone urn has an 18 carat gold stop to seal the ashes inside along with a wooden display so you can keep it in your home on display.

The Artist

In 1990, Jacomijn graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam as a jewellery designer. Throughout the years her work has been exhibited by museums including the Louvre in Paris and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. After 25 years in the jewellery trade she was confronted with a great personal loss. In coping with this loss, she set about designing a collection of mini urns, ash pendants, and memorial boxes. The Collection is named ‘To Cherish’. Each stone is made from natural materials and has a space for the ashes or hair of your loved one or pet. The artist’s collection offers mindfulness connection, love and support in the process of mourning.

Import Charges

It is really important for us that you have no surprises concerning extra charges. This urn is sent directly from Europe. On entry to the UK there will be a 20% VAT, 3% duty and courier’s fee to handle the shipment payment to HMRC. The VAT and duty charges are calculated and governed by the UK government at the time of entry to the UK and paid directly by you before receipt of your urn. You will be notified by the courier for the charges payable. Once paid, your urn will be delivered.
